Pinning Over

So lately I have become obsessed with Pinterest.com. I decided every Sunday I would post a few of my favorite things I've seen through the week on Pinterest.

Shoeshelf

Like every red blooded American girl I have tons and tons of shoes. I have tried countless different shoe storage methods and none of them seem to work for me. Since I live at my parents house I have room to store out of season shoes in another closet. However the shoes I wear most often seem to always end up on the floor.

My dad caught me flipping through the pages of a Container Store catalogue and surprised me with this amazing "Shoeshelf".

My dad built this for me; but I was thinking anyone could have a "shoeshelf" by just finding a garage sale bookshelf.

Fashion in motion

I was laying around watching music videos last night and I fell in love with the style in this particular video.

Last minute outfit

We have all been laying around in bed on a Friday or Saturday night when a friend texts and says "Get dressed we're going out!" This has happened to me several times and I have learned that you have to have three things in your closet ready to go whenever these situations pop up.

1.  A V-neck T-shirt.
American Eagle $15.00

2.  A cheap bandage skirt
Forever 21 $9.50

3. A cross body purse

Calvin Klein Tribeca Cross body (no longer for sale)

And you're ready to party!

I added a hat because; let's be honest I didn't feel like doing my hair.

DIY Wrap Bracelet

A few weeks back I saw this on Pinterest and I knew I needed to recreate it! I ran to Hobby Lobby to buy the supplies seen in the photo above. However to my dismay they did not have the best selection. I finally took some time out last weekend and went to Michaels and found everything I needed to make my Wrap Bracelet.

I decided to use rhinestones to add more sparkle. I am in no way a crafter but I think for my first try this is pretty amazing. I plan on making more and using a thinner leather cord.

Please ignore my lounge around the house shorts.

The new Dooney and Bourke

Raise your hand if you had this purse!!

If you say the name Dooney and Bourke to any girl that was in high school circa 2002 she will think of The It Bag. I too am guilty of rushing to Dillards and begging my mom to buy this bag for me.  I swore off D&B after selling my It Bag a year after I got it. Dooney and Bourke has revamped its self and is going back to the basics.
