Month In Review: September

Hey guys! September was yet again another busy month at work. I had to find a way to keep it all together and organized and I did! I found an new iPad app that has truly changed the way I plan my days out. It's called Amazing Note. This app is 3.99 but its basically a high tech planner and think about how much we all spend on planners at the beginning of the year.
Here is an example of what Amazing Note can do!

On the fashion side something I loved this September was finding great jewel tone pants. I found these pants at The Gap and I absolutely love them. I bought them full price but they are currently on sale.

What I Wore

Pants- The Gap
Shirt- J. Crew
Belt- Calvin Klein
Shoes- Nine West (old)
Purse- Coach

What were some of your favorite things this month?

Month in Review: July

July has always been my favorite month of the year; mainly because it is my birthday month. This July was jammed packed with activities like going to Canada, being a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and of course turing 25.

I am always looking for new apps to waste time with and I think I found a new favorite. It's called Song Pop! Basically it's Name That Tune for the 21st century. This app is available on iphone, ipad and android phones.

 Dress-H&M
I can't be the only one who keeps seeing photos on Instagram with these cool light spots. Well I wanted to know where people where getting this cool effect and this month I figured it out. I achieve this effect using PicFx.

I am a total Esty stalker. I look at products but I never buy anything. Well a week ago I decided to finally purchase something. I got this beautiful gold and plastic chain bracelet and I am in love with the quality and how light weight it is.

#01. iPad 2
I received my Ipad 2 for my birthday this year and by far it is the best thing I've ever been given.  When the first Ipad came out I thought it was interesting but not mind blowing. As the Ipad gained popularity and more features  I feel in love. I use my Ipad for millions of things. I take it grocery shopping, I watch movies on it, I shop on it, and I do anything I would do on my computer on it. I basically use my Ipad for everything besides blogging.

Here are few Apps I'm loving right now

Notability- $0.99
Since I've been using my iPad so much I have noticed that I sometimes need to write things down. I love this app because I can quickly jot down notes as I think of them.

iBooks- Free
Please don't judge my selection of books. I haven't had time to sit down and read lately so I have tons of previews of books.

Vevo-Free
Vevo is awesome since all the cool music videos have been taken off of Youtube.

ABC-Free
This app saves me when I'm stuck getting my oil changed or at doctors appointments.

Sephora- Free
This app  makes me love Sephora more than I already do. They have this really cool feature called The Virtual Beauty Studio. This app puts your face with a video that teaches you how to do different make up skills. That way you can prop up your iPad and do your make up as you watch the video.

I'm all about the hype!

I got an Ipad 2 for my birthday a few weeks ago and I am completely and totally in love with it! When I asked for it I really wanted it for E-books and random apps. However I found some apps that I really don't know how I lived without.

Stumble Upon started out as an add-on for firefox and now they have a mobile app. You enter things that you find interesting and then you "start stumbling".  You click the stumble button and you can browse millions of random websites that Stumble Upon think you may be interested in.

Epicurious was recommended to me by a friend. This app is a compilation of recipes for any occasion. I have yet to make any of the meals featured on this app however I do enjoy scroll through the different categories.  The best thing about this app is that you can click the "shopping list" button and it complies a list of things you will need to make the recipe you are planning on cooking.

Flipboard is by far my favorite app. Flipboard puts all your favorite magazines, newspapers and blogs in one location. You simply click on a picture or section that you find interesting or want to know more about and Flipboard takes you to the article.
